Our client is a growing, award-winning creative and digital marketing agency based in
Southern California. The agency operates two complementary lines of business: a full-
service digital marketing agency serving local and regional clients, and a high-profile
community media platform, and a well-established presence in the business community.
Position Summary
We are seeking a technically proficient and independently motivated Digital Marketing
Manager to own digital marketing execution across both the agency and its media platform.
This is a hands-on role. You will manage WordPress websites, drive SEO strategy, run email
marketing campaigns, and leverage AI tools to scale output and efficiency across all client
and media deliverables.
You will also serve as a client-facing contributor presenting monthly performance reports,
participating in agency sales conversations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical
depth, genuine people skills, and the critical thinking to know when and how to apply the
right tools.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and manage WordPress websites for agency clients and the media platform
builds, updates, plugin management, Elementor page construction, performance
optimization, and ongoing maintenance
- Lead SEO + GEO strategy and execution across all accounts keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, content structure, and monthly performance reporting
- Leverage AI tools to increase throughput and efficiency
- Manage Mailchimp campaigns end-to-end
- Participate in client-facing meetings
- Design website mockups and client presentation materials in Figma for pre-development client approval
- Develop and execute digital campaigns across web, social media, and email
- Support PPC campaign management (Google Ads, Meta Ads) on active client accounts

- WordPress + Elementor advanced
- SEO is a primary client deliverable
- Mailchimp end-to-end campaign ownership
- AI tools — proficient use of AI for SEO, web development, content, and workflow efficiency.
- Figma
- Email marketing
- Google Suite

- ClickUp or similar PM platform
- E-commerce plugins and WordPress integrations
- Experience & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of hands-on digital marketing experience; agency background strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in a structured, team-based environment
- Track record managing SEO, email marketing, and WordPress simultaneously as an integrated workload
- Client-facing experience
- Experience managing or directing a graphic designer or creative contractor
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
