Must be at least 18 years old.

Bachelor's degree in special education, Education, Social Work, Psychology or a related field; or a combination of related education and experience equal to four (4) years required.

Two (2) years’ supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Two (2) years’ experience working with Clients with TBI and behavioral health disorders strongly preferred.

Certified in Fundamental of Brain Injury

CBIS certification within one year of position

Must have a current, valid driver's license and good driving record.
Program Support: Functions as NeuRoads-ARCA team leader in development of Individual Service Plan (ISP) for individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), and mental health disorders, that are living in NeuRoads Assisted Living Facilities and Long-Term Care.
IDT/ISP: Works as part of a team and performs all duties within the scope of the guidelines of the IDT. Provides team leadership for individual homes. Provides and documents face-to-face consultation in the assisted living facilities, conducted by the Residential leads and/or other rehab technicians
Therapies and Behavior Support: Provides coordination and collaboration with therapists and therapy assistants to receive training on the implementation of WDSI’s in accordance with the participatory approach.
Communication: Monitors and reports in writing on the progress of individuals receiving services. Communicates on a regular basis with Department Manager /Division Director, caseworkers, direct support staff, nurses and other service providers. Maintains positive relationships with families and/or legal guardians.
Program Coordination: Schedules activities and appointments and advises direct support staff regarding expectations and next steps, including the need for retraining from a nurse, nutritionist, therapists or social worker.
Health/Safety: Provides AWMD and related monitoring, including skill development activities that potentially lead to the ability for the person to self-administer medication as appropriate.
Financial: Works with Department Manager/Division Director to develop and maintain an annual budget for each home or team. Has oversight of home/team budgets and staffing for individuals receiving services.
Recordkeeping: Monitors that direct support staff implement and document progress of the AT inventory, physician and nurse practitioner orders, therapy, social worker, RN.
Transportation: Provides transportation to one or more individuals in an agency vehicle or private vehicle and abides by ARCA rules on transportation.
Communication: Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors, caseworkers, direct support staff, nurses, families and guardians, other service providers, medical staff, community agencies, Department of Health Improvement (DHI), other State agencies and others to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
Staff Supervision: Hires, trains, supervises, evaluates and terminates Residential Leads and Rehab technicians with consultation from the Servi/Division Director and/or HR Director/team in compliance with EEO/AA/ADA, and DOL regulations.
Health and Safety Reports/Documentation: Reports all incidents of job-related work injuries/incidents or driving incidents using ARCA’s Accident Investigation system on SharePoint. Reports knowledge of staff medical situations or domestic violence situations to the Benefits Administrator or HR Director immediately. Reports knowledge of any sexual or other harassment situations to the HR Director immediately.
Training: Completes all required training within specified time periods and participate in ongoing in-service training according to ARCA Policy on Training.
Typical Physical, Environmental & Mental Demands- The job requires the physical ability to support clients with traumatic brain injuries in daily living and community activities, including walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, carrying, and providing hands‑on mobility or personal‑care assistance. Duties may include lifting and transferring individuals in and out of wheelchairs and using approved physical interventions for challenging or aggressive behaviors in accordance with the Mandt System. The role also involves operating a motor vehicle, documenting client progress, communicating with interdisciplinary team members, families, and community providers, and supervising staff who assist clients with personal care and behavioral needs. Training requirements include completing online coursework, kneeling and applying pressure for CPR, standing and using both arms for Mandt training maneuvers, and lifting 20 pounds to operate a fire extinguisher during safety training.
