Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
- Support catering and banquet setups by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving tools are ready for service.
- Help with bussing tables during service hours to ensure a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared food items and maintain smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus but not mandatory.
