Willow Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work alongside licensed therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitation services that help residents regain mobility, improve function, and enhance their quality of life.

Treat patients as directed by licensed therapists.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach with patients, families, and fellow team members.
Maintain regular attendance and provide appropriate notice for scheduled time off.
Meet productivity standards as established by the supervisor and clinical needs.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and professional guidelines.
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, and the rehabilitation department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work in well-lit and ventilated office and therapy areas.
Sit, stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.
Work in an environment with frequent interruptions.
Interact with residents, families, visitors, and staff under a variety of circumstances.
May be exposed to infectious diseases, odors, equipment hazards, and other healthcare-related conditions.
Lift, carry, transfer, and support residents as needed.
Mobile phone use is permitted only during scheduled breaks and unpaid meal periods; phones should remain on vibrate while on duty.
Current state registration/licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
Ability to maintain required supervision documentation in accordance with state regulations.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to manage the physical and emotional demands of the position.
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism, flexibility, and integrity.
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
