Overview: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Nurse Manager. Multiple site position that focuses on the daily operations, supervisory functions, efficiency and overall flow of the RN Department for our West Valley/Scottsdale locations. Travel Required.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday day shift position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee, in conjunction with the Nursing Director and Nurse Managers, the RNs, LPNs, and injection MA’s. Provide leadership in nursing department.

Provides clinical guidance, evaluates, and assesses RN/LPN performance and educational opportunities.

Performs audits on staff performance via retrospective chart audits.

Continuously monitors the operations and workflow, revises operational procedures as necessary in alignment with system practices to ensure efficiency and to drive expected results.

Assist with the performance evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations, as needed.

Assist with interviewing, hiring and promoting staff.

Assist with staffing schedule and evaluates staffing needs, ADP, vacation requests.

Work on chemo floor or in Triage when necessary.

Maintain reimbursement procedures.

Assist in the training process for new Physicians.

Coordinates activities with other managers, administrative staff and physicians

Travel between West Valley & Scottsdale offices required.
Knowledge and Skills:-
Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.

Management experience in hospital, outpatient clinic, medical office.

Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR systems required.

Excellent knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.
Education and Experience:
-
Associates degree in Nursing, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, or Master of Science degree in Nursing.

5 years of Management experience in outpatient medical facility or ambulatory healthcare setting is required.

3 years of Medical Oncology experience required.

Registered Nurse in Arizona.
-
American Heart Association Basic Life support.

OCN and/or ONS Preferred.
