At Dog Magnet Training, we do not just walk dogs, we transform lives. We are looking for a high performance Professional Dog Trainer to join our team of specialists in the Salt Lake Valley. The Mission:
You will be responsible for executing our premier training programs, including our high impact Board and Trains and Private Lessons. Your goal is to move dogs from Sidekick status to Hero status, ensuring every client receives the Lifetime Support and top tier reliability our brand is known for.
What You’ll Do:
- Behavior Transformation: Lead high impact sessions focused on reactivity, aggression, and obedience using proven, balanced training methodologies.
- Client Coaching: Empower owners to become the leaders their dogs need, ensuring the transformation sticks for life.
- Value Driven Consulting: Conduct evaluations, identify client pain points, effectively communicate the life changing value of our specialized programs, and confidently secure program commitments to meet growth goals.
Who You Are:
- Driven to Learn: While professional dog training experience is a plus, it is not required. We are fully willing to train the right person. You must have a deep passion for working with dogs and a strong willingness to master our specific training methodologies.

You understand that aligning a client needs with the right premium package is the essential first step in a dog total transformation. You thrive in an environment where your income directly reflects your execution and results.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month

- This is a performance based role where your monthly income is directly tied to the client commitments you secure and the training programs you complete. How does this setup align with your current financial goals and career expectations?
- Our premier programs include both day camp routines and comprehensive board and train structures. If you have the capacity to manage and board dogs for our day camp schedules, are you fully open and adaptable to adjusting your environment as you master our full board and train methodologies?
- In this role, a major expectation is conducting client evaluations, identifying their pain points, and securing their commitment to our premium training packages. How comfortable are you with your income being directly determined by your ability to guide clients through a consultative sales process?
- Because we are fully willing to train you on our methodologies, we prioritize work ethic and extreme accountability. Can you share an example of a time when you had to take complete ownership of a difficult situation or mistake without supervision?
