Experienced Hostess / Front of House Lead
Tucked away in Thompson's Station's original historic downtown. Circa is a upscale sophisticated southern fine dining experience. With a Chef driven menu and craft cocktails we set ourselves as a perfect destination for a pleasant meal or a good spot to swing by and grab a refreshing drink.
We are seeking a highly experienced, polished, and professional Hostess to lead front of house operations in our casual fine dining restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and takes pride in creating exceptional first impressions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all front of house operations, including reservations, seating flow, and guest experience
- Coordinate closely with management and service staff to ensure seamless service
- Maintain an organized and efficient waitlist and reservation system
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, setting the tone for a high-quality dining experience
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with confidence and poise
- Train and mentor host team members as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a hostess in an upscale or casual fine dining environment
- Strong understanding of front of house operations and service flow
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience with reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy, etc.) preferred
