Job description:
Are you the kind of person who likes to stay busy, talk to people, and be part of a close-knit team?
HealthSource Chiropractic is looking for an energetic, outgoing, self-motivated Chiropractic Assistant / Rehab Specialist who genuinely enjoys helping people and building relationships.
We are a busy, upbeat chiropractic and progressive rehab office that helps patients get out of pain, move better, and get back to doing the things they love through chiropractic care, exercise therapy, and wellness services.
This is not a sit-at-a-desk-all-day job. You'll be moving throughout the office, working with patients, helping with rehab, communicating with the team, answering phones, keeping things organized, and jumping in wherever you're needed.
We're a small team, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with others and wants to become an important part of our office—not just someone who clocks in and out.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves people and can easily strike up a conversation with patients
- Is friendly, upbeat, positive, and fun to be around
- Enjoys building genuine, long-term relationships with patients
- Is a self-starter who sees what needs to be done and does it without waiting to be asked
- Can multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Is comfortable switching gears quickly when priorities change
- Works well as part of a small team and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
- Likes staying busy and takes pride in getting things done
- Is dependable, conscientious, and follows tasks through to completion
- Is comfortable talking with patients while they are exercising and participating in their rehab
- Has strong communication, phone, computer, and people skills
- Wants to learn, grow, and become a valuable long-term member of our team
What you’ll do:
Your day will be a combination of patient interaction, rehabilitation, office support, and teamwork. Responsibilities include:
- Coaching patients through rehabilitation and corrective exercises
- Talking with and encouraging patients during their rehab sessions
- Applying therapies including spinal decompression and laser therapy
- Screening and molding patients for custom orthotics
- Helping manage patient flow and keeping the office running smoothly
- Answering phones and assisting with front-office tasks
- Supporting social media and marketing efforts
- Participating in community outreach and marketing
- Helping wherever needed to keep the team and patient experience running smoothly
Who will thrive here?
You don't need to know everything on day one. We can teach the right person the clinical side of the job.
What we can't teach as easily is personality, initiative, work ethic, and the desire to connect with people.
If you're the person who naturally says, "What can I do to help?"…
If you enjoy talking with people and making them feel comfortable…
If you like having a lot going on and would rather be busy than bored…
If you take pride in being someone your teammates can count on…
And if you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a small team where you can build real relationships with patients and make a difference…
We'd love to meet you.
A BS/AS degree in Exercise Science or Personal Trainer Certification is preferred, but not required. If you have the right attitude, personality, and drive, we'll train you.
