We're looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to help develop modern software solutions supporting critical national security missions. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, architects, and mission experts to build secure, scalable applications that enable intelligence professionals to access, analyze, and share mission-critical geospatial information.
You'll contribute across the entire software development lifecycle—from designing intuitive user interfaces to developing backend services, APIs, and cloud-native applications. Working in a collaborative Agile environment, you'll help deliver high-quality capabilities through iterative development, DevSecOps practices, and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions supporting critical GEOINT mission requirements.

Build modern web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using current software engineering best practices.

Develop secure, scalable, cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

Work within Agile development teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with product owners, mission users, cloud engineers, and fellow developers to deliver mission-focused capabilities.

Support DevSecOps pipelines through automated testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and security best practices.

Participate in peer code reviews while promoting coding standards, software quality, and maintainability.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Complete technical tasks as prioritized by the Product Owner.

Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

- Experience developing software using one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience developing modern web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Spring Boot, Node.js, Django, or Flask.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Experience developing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

Experience using Git for source control.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and modern development practices.

Familiarity with secure software development practices and government security requirements (RMF, STIGs, etc.).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving mission needs.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with UI/UX design and responsive web development.

Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).

Experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, RDS, and CloudFormation.

Experience working in AWS GovCloud or C2S environments.

Experience supporting Intelligence Community or other Federal Government customers.
