We are seeking experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented culinary professionals who are passionate about hospitality and take pride in their craft. Schedule
- On-call position based on event schedule and business needs
- Flexible scheduling based on availability
- Events may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Execute seasonal menu items with impeccable presentation and attention to detail
- Prepare and cook food according to the Chef's direction and company standards
- Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures at all times
- Keep a clean, organized, and efficient workstation in fast-paced event environments
- Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork while working on-site at event venues
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards
- Maintain readiness and adaptability in dynamic off-premise kitchen settings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional culinary or restaurant experience required
- Must own a complete and professional knife kit
- Culinary references required
- Experience working in high-volume or event-based culinary environments preferred
- Experience using professional kitchen equipment, including proofers, preferred
- Must have regular access to a computer or mobile device for scheduling and communication
- NYC Food Handler’s Certificate preferred

- Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen tools
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices
- Ability to maintain organization and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment

Candidates must be able to furnish professional references upon request to verify their qualifications and previous work experience.
Schedule: Part-time/seasonal. All work is on call, as needed, based on our busy calendar of events and your availability.
Location: NYC and surrounding area
Base salary: $26.00/hour - $30/hour Based on experience
Performance-based raise opportunities available to all staff on a quarterly basis
