Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and practical experience in the field. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are installed correctly and operate efficiently.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on installation projects.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions related to HVAC systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
- Assist in the design of HVAC systems based on client needs and specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the construction or property maintenance field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and ability to read schematics effectively.
- Experience as a service technician is preferred, with skills in Industrial Refrigeration Services.
- Ability to work independently in the field while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
