Land Surveyor

Nova Cartografia, Inc. is currently looking for a land surveyor to join our team.
As a Crew Member in Land Surveying, you will work directly with the Survey Division Manager and Team Lead to complete all types of land survey functions.
Our mission is to provide high value-added surveying and mapping services for engineering, construction, energy and engineering and industrial projects.
Qualifications:
· Degree in surveying, civil engineering
· Good oral and written communication skills are a plus
· Competence in AutoCAD Micro Survey or Civil3D or similar software
· Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience
· Land surveying or construction surveying experience. Working knowledge of ALTA, boundaries, lot, Platt, etc. survey, would be appreciated
· Basic understanding of Survey specific codes and Regulations
· Expertise with GPS, Total Station (Leica, Trimble, Topcon…) and other usual Topographic instruments
· Land surveying or construction surveying experience
· Positive attitude, high attention to detail, and motivated
· Geographic in-state mobility across Texas
Responsibilities:
· Conduct topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys to verify the project's compliance with design plans.
· Experience in roadway or heavy civil construction preferred.
· Work closely with Project Managers and Survey Party Chiefs.
· Manage deadlines and prepare deliverable
· Coordinate with field survey crews
Conditions of Employment:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
