Job Summary:
We are seeking a Service Hood Technician to service and repair commercial kitchen ventilation systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the physical ability to work in a variety of environments. Prior experience in the ventilation or HVAC industry is a plus. Pay starts at $20.00 depending on experience could be more with bonus potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and maintenance on commercial kitchen hood ventilation systems
- Accurately diagnose problems and explain repair needs to customers
- Travel to multiple job sites daily (routes assigned each day)
- Work safely at heights and in varied climates (hot, cold, humid, etc.)
- Lift 50+ lbs independently on a regular basis
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Collect payments and provide accurate service reports
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and repair experience required!!
- Must be comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (50+ lbs)
- Clean driving record required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to learn quick and make decisions quickly if needed.
- Experience in the ventilation or HVAC industry is a strong plus
- Having your own pickup truck is a plus
Schedule:
Full-time position. Time will vary. Can be anywhere from 6am - 8pm .
