JF Denney, Inc . has an immediate opening for a full-time plumber to join our team of professionals. We are a family owned and operated business who has been serving the Leavenworth and surrounding area since 1952. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to provide plumbing, remodel and installation services for our large customer base.
Our customer base includes governments, school districts, universities, large and small corporations, apartment buildings, as well as single family homes. We work on all aspects of the plumbing system including DWV, faucets, and fixtures, tank and tank-less water heaters, softeners, and utilities. We do new construction (both residential and commercial), remodel projects, and service.
You must be able to pass a physical, background check, a driver license check, and a drug screening test. It is absolutely critical that you have the ability to work well with others and with our customers. Honesty is requirement number one. We have an immediate opening for the right person with three or more years of experience to join our team. Duties:
- New construction and remodel plumbing for commercial buildings
- Install water, drain and gas lines to code
- Install DWV systems to code
- Measure and cut all types of pipe
- Work with office staff to coordinate schedules
- Always keep the safety of you and our customers first
- Take classes for professional development
- Be available to work after hours when called upon to deliver first-class customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in the plumbing field
- Plumber’s Journeyman’s license is preferred but not required
- Ability to measure, cut and install all types of plumbing pipe
- Understanding of applicable plumbing codes
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Accurately and promptly fill out required daily paperwork
- Safely use and operate all hand and power tools
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check, physical capacity test and drug screen
- Willing to work in all types of weather conditions
