Application Administrator
CHEFA is seeking a motivated Application Administrator to support, administer, and improve the organization’s business applications, collaboration platforms, reporting solutions, and workflow automation technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who has experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and wants to continue developing skills in SharePoint Online, Power Platform, automation, reporting, system integration, and business application administration.
The successful candidate will work directly with internal business units and the Assistant Director of Information Technology to improve processes, support users, maintain business applications, and help implement technology solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 business applications, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Support designated business applications, including CRM, financial, reporting, collaboration, and workflow automation platforms.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for application, workflow, reporting, collaboration, and data-related issues.
- Configure application permissions, user access, workflows, forms, integrations, and governance settings.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, Zapier, and other approved technologies.
- Work with business units to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, data models, and business intelligence solutions.
- Assist with application upgrades, testing, data migration, data validation, and implementation projects.
- Monitor workflow execution, application performance, integrations, and data synchronization processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, process maps, user guides, workflow diagrams, knowledge-base articles, and application inventories.
- Provide user training, troubleshooting assistance, and knowledge transfer.
- Research emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation solutions, that may improve organizational efficiency.
- Coordinate with approved vendors and managed service providers when escalation or specialized support is required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience supporting business applications, Microsoft 365 environments, collaboration platforms, reporting technologies, workflow automation, data systems, website administration, or related IT functions.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, SharePoint Online, workflow automation technologies, reporting platforms, or enterprise data environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and communicate clearly when questions, risks, or technical issues arise.
- Ability to work independently within established IT policies, procedures, and change-management practices.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred but not required in every area:
- Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Forms, or Dataverse
- SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams administration
- SaaS business application administration
- SQL queries, reporting structures, or data modeling
- APIs, connectors, web services, and system integrations
- PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar scripting technologies
- Website administration, content management systems, or Linux-based hosting environments
- Technical documentation, end-user training, and business-process improvement

Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- Non-exempt
- Hybrid work environment with regular on-site work required
- Core IT support hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Additional availability may occasionally be required for scheduled maintenance, technology implementations, incident response, upgrades, or disaster recovery testing.
- Occasional travel to training, conferences, or a co-location facility may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
