Software Quality Assurance Administrator
Nomad Temporary Housing is looking for a Quality Assurance candidate to join our growing organization. We’re an established and respected leader in the corporate housing industry and are striving to become a pioneer as a technology leader in this sector.
This is a great opportunity to work for a company that isn’t a startup but is still entrepreneurial and forward-thinking. As a Quality Assurance Administrator, you will work on a variety of projects, ranging from internal custom software updates to product development needs for new projects.
To succeed, the ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results focused environment and be able to manage individual projects and parallel tasks. The right candidate is hungry for growth and learning, detail- and process-oriented, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards for quality/testing. This individual also plays a key role in the construction and maintenance of internal departmental testing standards, best practices and delivers all work accordingly. Clear understanding of Jira software, browser functions for testing software such as console and network troubleshooting needed. Dynamic learner that isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and learn new technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. College Degree - 4-year college degree required
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Must be well versed in Jira / Atlassian Software, Outlook, Word, Excel
4. Experience using Agile/Scrum development methodology is a plus
5. Well Organized - Ability to perform in a fast-paced dynamic work environment while maintaining a positive teamwork attitude
6. Must have strong organizational skills
7. Must have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work closely with Product Director and Operational teams to create scalable solutions for a business that delivers an end-to-end user experience
2. Test the product in controlled environment with real situations before going live, confirming high product value
3. Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
4. Review and analyze system specifications
5. Report bugs/reports via Jira software
6. Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production
7. Interact over the phone/email with Nomad partners determining issue with software
8. Assist clients and Nomad staff in troubleshooting API related issues before bringing to developers
9. Mentor members of our engineering team throughout the development lifecycle as items pass or fail
