Alorah Healthcare, a new skilled nursing facility in Las Vegas, is seeking an experienced and motivated Activities Director to build and lead our Activities Department from the ground up.

- Create monthly activity calendars based on resident interests, abilities, and needs.
- Establish department policies, procedures, forms, workflows, and documentation processes.
- Complete and maintain resident activity assessments, care planning documentation, participation records, and progress notes.
- Coordinate special events, entertainment, outings, volunteers, and community resources.
- Identify and manage departmental supplies, equipment, and budget needs.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Activities staff as the facility grows.
- Collaborate with Nursing, Social Services, Rehabilitation, Dietary, and other departments.

- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and build systems and processes from the ground up.
- Comfortable using computers and technology, including Microsoft Office, email, electronic documentation systems, and other facility software.
- Able and willing to learn new software and technology used for resident care, documentation, scheduling, and departmental operations.
- Creative, dependable, energetic, and genuinely passionate about working with seniors.
- Must meet applicable federal and Nevada requirements for the Activities Director position.

If you have skilled nursing or long-term care experience and are excited about building a department from the beginning, we encourage you to apply.
