Arch Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our multidisciplinary treatment team on a full-time basis at our residential treatment facility in Mount Clare, WV.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in general/family medicine as well as substance use disorder (SUD) and addiction treatment, with a strong clinical foundation and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Arch Recovery Center provides medically assisted detoxification (including the use of Medication-Assisted Treatment – MAT) and a residential inpatient program ranging from 28–45 days. Our program treats the whole person, addressing substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, acute medical needs, and ongoing medication management.
The Medical Provider will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical and psychiatric care to clients in a residential treatment setting, working closely with nursing, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure safe, effective, and compliant care.
Conduct medical evaluations, histories, and physical examinations for incoming and current clients
Manage medically assisted detoxification, including MAT protocols
Prescribe and manage medications for:
Address acute care needs and medical concerns as they arise
Collaborate with clinical and nursing staff on treatment planning and continuity of care
Ensure compliance with applicable state, federal, and regulatory standards
Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation in the electronic health record
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of West Virginia (or eligible for licensure)
Board certification as FNP, ANP, or similar
Experience in family/general medicine required
Experience in substance use disorder treatment and addiction medicine strongly preferred
Experience managing psychiatric medications and co-occurring disorders preferred
Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills
