JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: CASE MANAGER- ENCAMPMENT RESOLUTION FUNDING CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Temporary and Part Time (25 hours per week)
Position Summary
Family Service Association is seeking a compassionate and motivated ERF Case Manager to support individuals and families participating in the Encampment Resolution Fund (ERF) Program in partnership with the City of Redlands. This position provides case management, housing navigation, advocacy, and rapid rehousing services to help clients achieve housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client assessments and develop individualized service plans.
- Provide referrals and assistance for housing, rental assistance, food, medical care, utilities, and other community resources.
- Deliver ongoing case management, advocacy, budgeting assistance, and home visits.
- Assist clients with housing searches, rental applications, landlord engagement, and move-in coordination.
- Maintain accurate client records and program documentation.
- Collaborate with community partners and participate in housing and homelessness-related meetings.
- Support special agency programs and activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Associate degree and/or relevant social service experience considered.
- Minimum one year of experience providing direct client services or case management.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing homelessness, crisis, or housing instability.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Requirements
- Fingerprint clearance and drug screening.
- Current negative TB test.
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance.
- Reliable transportation for work-related travel.
Special Note
This position is funded through grant resources. Continued employment is contingent upon ongoing program funding and operational needs.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
