In this dynamic position, you will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to ensure a seamless clinical experience—from preparing treatment rooms to assisting during advanced procedures and supporting patient comfort throughout every visit.

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is organized and ready for clinical procedures.
- Assist dentists chairside during a wide range of procedures, including restorative, surgical, endodontic, and prosthodontic treatments.
- Capture high-quality dental radiographs and imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix ensuring full HIPAA compliance.
- Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, including obtaining and recording vital signs as needed.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols, utilizing proper sterilization and aseptic techniques at all times.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain efficient workflow through four-handed dentistry and provide cross-support with front desk duties when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with clinical documentation and coding is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques.
- Ability to operate dental technology, including digital X-rays, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide patients clearly and professionally through their treatment experience.
- X-ray certification and CPR certification preferred; additional training in surgical, endodontic, or prosthodontic procedures is a plus.
