Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric caseloads
- Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and language disorders in children
- Comfortable working with a moderate to severe population
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy and interventions to students, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families as part of the student support team
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for optimizing student outcomes
