We are hiring for a part-time clerk for the Gift Shop at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way with occasional coverage shifts being in St. Joseph's Medical Center in Tacoma.
Summary:
This job would mainly consist of a 10 am-2 pm schedule with 2-3 shifts a week (weekdays only - closed major holidays and weekends). As a part-time Gift Shop Clerk, you will be a vital team member responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales in our gift shop. With core skills in stocking, retail sales, and cash handling, you will ensure the shop is well-maintained, products are displayed attractively, and transactions are processed efficiently. Join our team and contribute to creating a welcoming and organized shopping environment for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Maintain an organized and clean sales floor
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays
- Assist with inventory management and restocking
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Technical sales experience, such as electronics or jewelry, is a plus
- Experience in Sales strongly preferred
