Position Summary
Working under the supervision of our veterinarians and alongside licensed veterinary technicians and client support staff, you will assist with patient care, diagnostics, treatments, surgery, dentistry, and client education while ensuring every pet and pet parent receives a five-star experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely and compassionately restrain patients during examinations and procedures.
- Obtain patient vital signs and report abnormalities to the veterinarian.
- Assist with physical examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
- Take diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning and radiation safety techniques.
- Perform in-house laboratory testing on blood, urine, and fecal samples or prepare samples for outside laboratories.
- Monitor patients during anesthesia and assist with anesthetic recovery.
- Assist with dental procedures, including cleanings, polishing, dental charting, and radiographs.
- Assist with surgical preparation, procedures, and patient recovery.
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans.
- Communicate professionally with clients in person and over the phone.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional hospital environment.
Qualifications
- Passion for animal health and exceptional client care.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with a strong sense of accountability.
- Comfortable learning and using veterinary technology and software.
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinical setting preferred.
