Seawards Home Improvement is hiring a dependable Construction Helper who wants to build a long-term career in remodeling and general contracting. - Set up floor, wall, fixture, and property protection before work begins.
- Assist with demolition, material movement, staging, installation, punch-list work, and project closeout.

- Inspect assigned tools and report damaged or unsafe equipment immediately.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and secure tools, materials, openings, and the jobsite at the end of each day.
- Assist with daily job photos, including photographs before work is concealed.
- Track materials received and used as directed.
- Report hazards, near misses, damage, missing information, and unexpected conditions immediately.
- Learn construction drawings, measurements, layout, material identification, and quality-control standards.
- Participate in toolbox talks, training, and performance reviews.
- Provide respectful, professional service in occupied homes and businesses.
Qualifications:
- Reliable attendance, dependable transportation, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and follow written and verbal directions.
- Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
- A valid driver's license when driving is required for assigned duties.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prior construction experience is helpful but not required.
