Job Title: School Van Driver
Reports To: Head of School
Job Overview: Part-Time; Non-Exempt

We seek staff persons who can help fulfill the goal of making the LIFE aspiration a reality for our students. Considering the uniqueness of a culturally diverse building that is single gender focused, drivers who become part of our team will exhibit a demonstrated commitment to our particular student population.
The primary function of all staff is to develop an atmosphere where students’ cultural backgrounds are seen as assets and their potential is uncovered daily. The School Van Driver is responsible for reliable transportation services for the students and areas assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations governing child safety and driving safety for school children
- Knowledge of Inventory and record-keeping procedures
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
- Required Clearances and Certifications
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates to arrive to pick up van in appropriate time to pick up and drop off students on time and in a timely manner
Physical Requirements:
Physical strength and agility are required to reach and lift small equipment and supplies. Working conditions include working with and keeping children safe, being able to ensure that students are safely on and off of the vehicle. Positions may require the ability to work varied shifts.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per day
