Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, energetic demeanor upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in
- Assist with food and beverage service, including serving meals, beverages, and snacks in a professional and courteous manner
- Support food handling and food safety protocols to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of all items served
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and maintaining a tidy dining area throughout the event
- Collaborate with catering team members to set up, organize, and break down event spaces effectively
- Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and fostering positive guest relations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support smooth event operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper serving techniques
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during events
- Experience with catering or banquet service is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is beneficial; familiarity with coffee service or food preparation is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining professionalism
