ReStore Administrative & Outreach Coordinator (Part-Time)
Schedule: Approximately 16 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday during ReStore business hours, with occasional evening or weekend events.
Position Summary
The ReStore Administrative & Outreach Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore while helping grow our impact in the community. This position assists with donation pickup scheduling, customer service, administrative tasks, volunteer recruitment, and promoting the ReStore through social media and community outreach.
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, outgoing, and enjoys building relationships. Every donation, volunteer, and purchase at the ReStore helps Habitat for Humanity build and repair affordable homes for local families.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and assist customers, donors, and volunteers.
- Assist with scheduling donation pickups and coordinating with the ReStore team.
- Operate the register and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform general administrative duties.
- Recruit volunteers through community outreach efforts and assist with volunteer communication and scheduling as needed.
- Create social media content and help promote sales, donation drives, volunteer opportunities, and special events.
- Work with Habitat's marketing partner to support promotional efforts.
- Capture photos and stories that highlight the ReStore's impact.
- Share creative ideas to increase donations, volunteers, customers, and community awareness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, and social media preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Comfortable working in an office and retail environment.
- Passion for Habitat for Humanity's mission and serving the community.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed primarily inside the ReStore in a climate-controlled environment.

- Position works under the direction of the ReStore Manager.
