Summary
The Sales & Revenue Professional plays a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth, market share, and long-term profitability for Hotel La Croix. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales, marketing, pricing, and revenue management initiatives that maximize hotel performance across transient, group, and food and beverage segments. Working closely with executive leadership and operational departments, this individual will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, optimize distribution strategies, and ensure revenue goals are consistently achieved while supporting the hotel's commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management, pricing strategies, and market segmentation
- Knowledge of hospitality performance metrics including ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, GOP, and market penetration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and hotel sales management systems
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Prerequisites
- 3–5 years of progressive hotel sales, revenue management, or hospitality leadership experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience with hotel reservation, CRM, and revenue management systems
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop proactive revenue strategies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments
- Luxury, boutique, or upscale hotel experience preferred
- Understanding of Hawaii's hospitality and tourism market is a plus
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute strategic sales, marketing, and revenue plans to maximize hotel profitability
- Monitor group, transient, and catering inventory to optimize occupancy and revenue performance
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasts to identify revenue opportunities
- Develop pricing and distribution strategies that maximize ADR, RevPAR, and overall profitability
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, wholesalers, meeting planners, and local partners
- Conduct professional property tours and client site inspections
- Lead sales initiatives that increase market share and outperform competitive hotels
- Collaborate with General Managers, Operations, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and Executive Leadership to achieve financial objectives
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue reports
- Develop accurate revenue forecasts and business plans for ownership and corporate leadership
- Monitor departmental performance against established budgets and revenue goals
- Lead and participate in revenue strategy meetings to evaluate pricing and inventory decisions
- Train, mentor, and develop members of the sales, reservations, and revenue teams
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies, SOPs, and brand standards
- Maintain strong community relationships through networking events, industry associations, and local partnerships
- Organize promotional campaigns, sales blitzes, and business development initiatives when market conditions require additional revenue generation
- Meet or exceed individual and departmental sales production goals
- Support hotel redevelopment initiatives through innovative business development strategies

Education

Experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel sales management software
- Experience working with hotel property management and revenue systems
- Strong understanding of hospitality financial reporting and market analysis
