We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of nurturing, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for infants, fostering a safe and stimulating environment that promotes growth and discovery. Your leadership will ensure that every infant receives attentive care, educational support, and emotional reassurance, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Responsibilities
- Plan and execute developmentally appropriate activities that support infant growth in areas such as motor skills, language, social-emotional development, and cognitive abilities.
- Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring their safety at all times.
- Lead classroom management by organizing daily routines that promote consistency, security, and engagement for infants.
- Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans that meet each infant’s unique needs and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate documentation of developmental progress, health records, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
- Foster positive relationships with families through regular communication about their child's progress and needs.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures such as pediatric first aid and CPR training.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants in a childcare, daycare, or preschool setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in first aid and pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training in child safety is highly valued.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is preferred; familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with the ability to nurture and motivate young children.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude focused on child well-being.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
