Job Summary

Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are clean and properly set for new guests
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and delivering food or beverages as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support food safety protocols by ensuring proper sanitation and hygiene standards are upheld
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service delivery
- Assist in basic catering setup and breakdown for special events or large parties
- Manage internal communication channels to relay guest requests or issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures, table setting, and food handling practices within the hospitality industry is advantageous
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic catering or hotel experience is a plus
- Experience working in fast-paced environments within the food industry or hospitality sector will help you excel in this role
