Virginia iSpine Physicians PC, a well-established Interventional Spine/MSK practice in Central Virginia, is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team to help our patients reconnect with what is meaningful to them. The staff at Virginia iSpine Physicians specialize in caring for patients with painful spine and musculoskeletal disorders and exercise a team-based approach to improve patient’s level of function and quality of life. We have multiple service lines including on-site anesthesia services and acupuncture. We are located in a new facility just off of 288 and Patterson Avenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient triage: Be the first point of contact, guiding patients through their healthcare journey with care and compassion.
- Pre/Post Op care: Provide exceptional support to patients before and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assisting during patient care visits: Dive into the action by assisting our physicians during patient visits, showcasing your skills and expertise.
- Surgical scheduling: Keep things running smoothly by managing surgical schedules with precision and finesse.
- Patient data entry: Maintain accurate records, ensuring seamless communication and coordination within our team.
- Clinical tasks: From blood draws and IVs to EKGs, you'll handle a variety of clinical tasks with confidence and proficiency.
- Rooming patients: Create a welcoming environment for our patients, putting them at ease from the moment they walk in.
- Supply management: Keep things organized behind the scenes, ensuring our clinical supplies are well-stocked and ready for action. Assist with inventory ordering.
- Research: Participate an unblinded or blinded medical assistant in on-going clinical trials - i.e. EKGs, blood draws, participate in procedures, calling possible clinical trials patients for screenings.
Preferred Skills:
- Sterile technique
- Venipuncture/IV experience
- EMR proficiency
- Microsoft Office mastery
- CPR or BLS certification
- Certified Medical Assistant Certification
- Medical terminology

Salary: varies based on experience and certification
