Basic Functions & Objectives:
- Our Logistics Customer Service Reps are the backbone of our success. No matter the industry a company cannot be successful without being a leader in customer service and satisfaction.
- This professional will need to have exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to multitask while paying attention to detail.
- Maintaining and further developing strong relationships with current customers.
Responsibilities:
- Data Entry, scheduling, shipment tracking, and status updates for customers.
- Updating Customer Portals, when required.
- Ensure all paperwork is entered for each load (ie tender, BOL, lumper receipt etc)
- Developing creative problem solving procedures through experience and abstract thinking.
- Growing our current clientele, potential development and opportunity.
- Representing the core values behind Online Transport.
- Work with Planner on dormant trailers at Customers.
- Create and maintain Customer SOP’s.
- Work with back-up CSR to ensure there is no gap in coverage while you are out of the office.
- Review & maintain customer awards and commitments: Are we meeting our commitments? Are we able to handle the freight we are being tendered?
- Maintaining Customer information in Company File Maintenance, updating as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service, problem solving, presentation, organization, computer, analytical, and people skills
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment
- Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- TMW experience preferred
- Logistics/transportation experience preferred
