Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to Coburn’s customer and company branch locations.
Non-CDL Drivers: Drivers of vehicles that are transporting material intrastate[1], with a GVWR of 26,000 pounds or less are required to be a minimum age of 21 years old and licensed as follows:
Texas– personal driver’s license with medical card.
Mississippi & Tennessee- Class D license with medical card.
Louisiana – Chauffer’s (Class D) license with medical card.
CDL Drivers: A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for drivers who operate vehicles that cross the state line (interstate) in a company-owned vehicle, or who operate vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more. CDL drivers must be a minimum age of 25 years old.
In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
Travel: It is strongly preferred that Business Division Managers have the ability to fly and maintain a current passport.
