JOB
In a pilot program, monitors the maintenance and repair of the grounds and facilities of municipal buildings, parks, open spaces and recreation areas; performs related work as required.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Monitors the maintenance of parks, centers and open space areas.
Ensures proper maintenance and repairs of parks are completed in a timely manner.
Monitors the set up and take down of equipment for various park and recreational programs.
Monitors operation and simulation of park facilities.
Coordinates the development and implementation of recreational and special events.
Works independently on assigned projects.
Performs other work as assigned and/or required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
You must meet the minimum entrance requirements and attach supporting documentation to be considered for employment. Employees hired by the City must maintain residency as follows: Local 1600 - within 20 miles of the nearest boundary of the City of Flint.
