Floral Warehouse Dispatcher
We are seeking a dependable and organized Dispatcher to join our fast-paced floral warehouse team. This position plays a key role in coordinating delivery routes, assisting drivers, managing order flow, and helping support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multitask under pressure, and willing to jump in and help throughout the shop when needed.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch delivery drivers efficiently throughout the day
- Organize delivery routes and ensure orders are sent out on time
- Communicate with drivers regarding route updates, delays, and issues
- Monitor order status and assist with problem-solving during deliveries
- Answer phones and assist with customer service when needed
- Help with general warehouse and in-shop tasks during downtime
- Assist with preparing orders, organizing inventory, and maintaining workspace cleanliness
- Work closely with designers, production staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Floral industry or dispatch experience is a plus, but not required
- Open availability, including weekends, is preferred
