Job Summary:
Once Upon a Child is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associates to join our team! Sales Associates play a key role in creating a fun and welcoming environment for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist customers in selecting gently used children’s clothing, toys, and gear.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked displays and sales floor.
- Operate cash register, process transactions, handle returns and exchanges.
- Tag, hang, and stock merchandise on the sales floor efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, sales, and promotions.
- Assist with merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Work as a team to meet sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Friendly, energetic, and dependable.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Manager
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (as applicable)
Job Summary:
Once Upon a Child is looking for a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Key Holder to join our team! As a Key Holder, you will support store leadership in daily operations, open and close the store, and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, has leadership potential, and is passionate about children's products and resale retail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store, including counting registers, handling deposits, and securing the premises.
- Support management in supervising staff and delegating tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
- Assist in training new associates and ensuring store policies are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
- Ensure accurate pricing and tagging of merchandise.
- Assist in buying used merchandise from customers using company guidelines.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle returns/exchanges.
- Monitor loss prevention and security procedures.
- Lead by example in creating a friendly and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Prior key holder or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
