Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all assigned sales activity. The Regional Sales Manager primary responsibility is managing the sales process in the assigned region to include identifying, prospecting, qualifying and closing of new business opportunities. Regional Sales Managers are expected to work with their inside sales team, Sales Rep. Groups, dealers, clients and prospects to identify potential business and close new projects. The ability to successfully hunt for new opportunities and cultivate relationships with clients and partners is required and paramount to success in this assignment. Regional Sales Managers are expected to coordinate and work with the estimating team, design engineers, purchasing and shipping to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. This includes communication of 100% accurate job information. Regional Sales Managers are expected to be professionals and always portray professionalism regarding presentation, performance, appearance and communication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Travel in assigned territory 3+ weeks per month.
- Consistently perform at above Goal sales revenue each quarter.
- Prospect for new dealers and new business effectively by using leads and available tools in the most time effective way.
- Respond to all presales leads and inquiries with timeliness and purpose to effect closing of the sale.
- Ability to manage large accounts with multiple branches and/or multiple decision makers to maximize sales.
- Acquire and maintain proficiency in technical aspects of the product line and acquire the ability to explain and demonstrate products on demand
- Facilitate sales by engaging end users and partners with product information needs making sure product is understood. Training of partners and customers is a constant requirement of all Atlantis Rail sales personnel.
- Provide dealer training at every opportunity via phone and on-site training.
- Working with the estimating team, produce accurate quotes and accurately process active projects through completion. 100% accuracy required at all phases.
- Ability to project manage extensive commercial projects from quote to installation.
- Consistently track opportunities and update pipeline in CRM.
- Assist with Marketing as required. This includes participation in events at customer locations and trade shows when required.
- Process all orders accurately and timely. CSR support as well.
- Contact all leads provided and follow up according to guidelines. 100% follow up required.
- Other sales related activities as required.
- Execute all job-related activities within the requirements set out in the Suncor Stainless Employee Manual, Atlantis Rail Order Processing Procedures and in compliance with directives provided by direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required or equivalent of 10 years directly related job experience.
- Degree in Architecture, Project Management or Marketing is most desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience selling construction products direct and /or through the channel required. Railing experience preferred.
- Minimum 10 years progressive sales experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strategic, high-energy professional with a results-oriented track record of sales closings above quota.
- Familiarity with and previous experience with consultative selling methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Microsoft Suite expertise
- Ability to present technical information from a sales perspective
- Comfortable interacting at multiple levels simultaneously in a consultative sales methodology.
- Excellent oral and written communications.

- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple sales processes simultaneously.
- Capable of handling sales prospecting within a multi-state territory or highly specialized vertical assignment.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory to support and train partners.
- An understanding of technical drawing and construction assembly.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
