Hot Room Production Associate
Nourish Kitchen makes bulk deli salads, dips, sauces and much more and we are looking for experienced food production associates with a background of high-volume production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Large-Scale Cooking & Processing
Operates industrial cooking equipment such as steam-jacketed kettles, to prepare soups, sauces, ready meals, proteins, and bases.
- Batch & Recipe Execution
Scales up commercial recipes accurately by following precise batch sheets, build guides, and target yield measurements to maintain flavor, texture and visual consistency across production runs.
- Quality Control & Monitoring Monitors critical limits during cooking, including internal product temperatures, cook times, viscosity, and sensory quality (taste, aroma, appearance.)
- Food Safety & Compliance Maintains continuous documentation for regulatory compliance, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act), USDA, and FDA guidelines. Tracks temperature logs, CCPs (Critical Control Points), metal detection and allergen controls.
- Sanitation & Equipment Maintenance Performs or oversees line changeover cleanings, standard operation procedures (SOPs) for hygiene, and preventive maintenance checks on heavy cooking machinery.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Industrial Equipment Operation: Proficiency with automated or semi-automated culinary equipment (kettles, steam controls, pumps, mixers).
- Food Safety Certification: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and allergen isolation procedures.
- Math & Scale Proficiency: Ability to calculate scaling percentages, read batch tickets, and handle precise weight/volume measurements.
- Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for long shifts, life heavy raw materials (often up to 50 lbs), and work near heat sources or hot washdown environments.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

Schedule:
- 5 days a week
- 6AM - 3:30-5 PM, 1/2 hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks
- Times can be flexible
- 2 paid Holidays
- Christmas and Thanksgiving off
$25/hour - or depending on experience.
