What You'll Be Doing
This position is primarily Back of House, working alongside our kitchen team to ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets The Mark III standard.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Preparing and cooking menu items while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Leading by example during busy service periods.
- Helping train and mentor kitchen team members.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Assisting with inventory, product rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Supporting ordering and prep planning to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
- Working closely with ownership and management to improve systems and operations.
- Completing end-of-night closing responsibilities, including accurate cash counting, paperwork, and closing reports.
- Stepping into leadership roles when needed to help the team succeed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is required.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to continue learning.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
- Dependable, honest, and accountable.
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- ServSafe certification is a plus, but we can help the right candidate obtain it.
