Duties
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans, particularly in areas such as geriatric physicians.
- Manage inventory effectively, ensuring that all medications are stocked appropriately and systems for tracking are maintained.
- Administer immunizations as required.
- Conduct medication therapy management and participate in medical management initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive records of patient interactions and medication dispensation for compliance with legal requirements.
Experience
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school is required.
- Previous experience in a retail setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with geriatric Korean speaking patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality healthcare.
