Position Summary
Patrons Bank is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Commercial Loan Officer to join our growing team. This position will be based in our new Oklahoma City Loan Production Office (LPO) and offers an exciting opportunity to help expand the Bank’s commercial lending presence in one of Oklahoma’s fastest-growing markets.

The Commercial Loan Officer will develop and manage commercial lending relationships, identify new business opportunities, analyze credit requests, and deliver customized lending solutions while maintaining sound credit quality. This position offers the opportunity to help expand Patrons Bank’s commercial presence in the Oklahoma City market while maintaining the personalized service that has defined our community bank for generations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective commercial customers.
- Grow the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio through business development, networking, and community involvement.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and other financial information to evaluate creditworthiness.
- Structure commercial loan requests that balance customer needs with sound credit practices.
- Prepare complete loan presentations and recommendations for approval in accordance with Bank lending policies.
- Monitor an assigned commercial loan portfolio to ensure ongoing credit quality and compliance with loan terms.
- Conduct regular customer visits and annual financial reviews.
- Collaborate with Credit Administration, Loan Operations, Retail Banking, and other departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Stay informed on banking regulations, economic trends, and commercial lending practices.
- Represent Patrons Bank through participation in local business organizations, networking opportunities, and community events.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent banking experience.
- Minimum of three years of commercial lending, commercial credit, or related banking experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis and financial statement interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of commercial lending experience.
- Experience across a broad range of commercial lending, including C&I, commercial real estate, small business, SBA, and equipment financing.
- Community banking experience preferred.
- Established business relationships within the Oklahoma City metropolitan area are highly desirable.
