We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of one of our clients in Greensboro. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role works closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.

Perform monthly bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations.

Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.

Prepare and analyze financial reports and supporting schedules.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Monitor fixed assets and maintain depreciation schedules.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

Review financial data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency.

Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests from management.
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2+ years of accounting experience preferred.

Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $40.00 per hour
