We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and Experienced Child Care Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your expertise in childhood development and classroom management is a MUST and will inspire young minds and support their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Must have at least 1 year experience in a child care setting and have 3 professional references that will be able to confirm this experience.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and special education needs. Create a monthly classroom curriculum
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Provide individualized attention to children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring inclusive participation in all activities.
- Maintain safety standards by applying first aid when necessary and adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children’s progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones.
- Support children’s social skills through nurturing caregiving practices, nurturing curiosity, and encouraging positive interactions.
- Manage daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions smoothly while ensuring a caring atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying or babysitting roles with classroom experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while maintaining a warm, caring environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is essential.
- Ability to adapt activities for diverse needs including those of children with disabilities or special educational requirements. Join us in shaping bright futures!
