Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing orders and payments.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal regulations.
- Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as needed, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink pairings, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or within the food industry is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is preferred.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts to manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while helping team members as needed.
