About the role
Kaimetrix is seeking System Administrator – Level IV professionals to provide senior-level leadership and oversight of enterprise IT infrastructure in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role is responsible for the overall operation and upkeep of systems, servers, and networks, ensuring secure and reliable access to required resources while supervising all system administration functions.
What you'll do

Supervise server management, network management, user account management, security management, and backup and recovery operations

Ensure the operation and upkeep of computer systems, servers, and networks to maintain secure and reliable access to resources

Perform and oversee automation activities, including scripting using common scripting languages

Apply advanced knowledge of operating systems, networking, security, and cloud computing to support enterprise infrastructure

Provide strategic direction for system administration activities and guide infrastructure operations

Mentor junior staff and promote best practices in system administration

Lead infrastructure upgrade, optimization, and modernization projects

Serve in a site lead capacity, coordinating system administration functions across the environment
Qualifications
Education/Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in systems engineering or related engineering disciplines

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Certifications:
-
Advanced certification such as CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent aligned to DoD requirements
Clearance:
-
Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
