The Picture Framing Saw & Joiner Operator will operate and help maintain multiple double miter framing saws and joiners, working in tandem with framing production team members and sales staff to ensure client specifications and deadlines are met and to uphold the reputation of the Colorchrome brand.
Primary duties/responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multiple double miter saws and joiners, including a Cassese CS969 saw, and AMP T400 saw, a Cassese CS200 Joiner, and an AMP U500 joiner.
- Handle raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished pieces.
- Complete assigned jobs accurately, quickly, and efficiently using provided tools and equipment.
- Learn and understand all aspects of our manufacturing operation, including packaging and shipping, hardware and inventory management, fabrication and preparation of accessories, clean up, and other related duties.
- Coordinate with Sales, Digital pre-flight and Production teams to ensure jobs are completed effectively, according to customer specifications, and on-time with a minimum of defects or mistakes.
- Assist with the maintenance of production machines as necessary.
- Assist with the diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of production machines as necessary.
- Demonstrate the daily discipline and desire to achieve goals with limited guidance, taking responsibility for all results.
- Employ good listening skills and demonstrate good communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence when appropriate.
- Seek out opportunities to contribute in cross-departmental efforts.

- Woodworking or fabrication experience preferred.
- Prior experience with picture framing, double miter saws, and joining preferred.
