This full-time, onsite position focuses on supporting the unique needs of a female student through effective consultation services. You'll play a vital role in developing an accessible and engaging learning experience by conducting both initial and re-evaluation assessments in a collaborative educational setting.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid credentials as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Solid understanding of instruments and technology to support learning for DHH students
- Proficiency in collaborating with a diverse staff and integrating feedback
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; fluency in ASL is preferred, though not required
- Organized and detail-oriented in maintaining assessment and progress documentation
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Complete initial and periodic assessments to identify and address each student’s strengths and areas of growth
- Utilize a variety of technologies and resources to tailor consultation and enhance student engagement
- Partner with general and special education staff to ensure instructional strategies are personalized and effective
- Develop and maintain thorough records reflecting progress, consultations, and program adjustments
