Demonstrating genuine hospitality and delivering exceptional guest services in the bar area, including:
Helping guests be aware of and choose menu items, taking orders and making guests feel taken care of during their visit. Keeping the bar stocked and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service.
Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest.
Be visible behind the bar at all times to assist guests.
Possess up-to-date knowledge of all food, liquor, beer, wine, and retail offered.
Apply a positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests
Follow all recipes and specifications to provide perfect beverages.
Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
Complete other general bartender tasks as assigned.
Bartender Minimum Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes.
- Must have clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have basic math skills and the ability to responsibly handle cash transactions.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
