Overview:
Seeking a chef/kitchen manager for our established restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints related to the kitchen
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling
- Proficiency in menu planning and recipe development
