DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise assigned maintenance staff. Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of facility and ensure prompt response to maintenance requests for the Glass Factory and Clyde Burton House Programs. Make repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. Responsible for preventative maintenance of cooling/heating and domestic water systems. Ensure that the periodic maintenance and inspection of elevators, sprinkler systems, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers is performed and documented as directed. Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed. Receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies. Asses security needs and maintain systems. Repair and maintain agency wide equipment and property as needed. Move furniture as needed. Be a member of the fire safety team. Participate in fire drills. On call for emergencies, this may require early and/or late hours. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years' experience in building maintenance, experience in trades is helpful. Prior supervisory experience. Ability to use independent discretion and judgment. High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Basic computer literacy required. Valid driver's license required.
